Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver specializing in sand hauling to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting sand and other bulk materials using heavy-duty trucks, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. This role requires a solid understanding of commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance, with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Duties
Operate Class 1 commercial trucks to haul sand and bulk materials between designated sites.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability.
Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, freight handling, and driving regulations.




Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
Assist with forklift operation for loading and unloading materials at various locations.

Experience
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Prior experience in freight transportation, especially in bulk material hauling like sand, is advantageous.
Knowledge of automotive repair basics to handle minor vehicle issues on-site or en route.
Familiarity with safety regulations related to commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and freight handling is essential. This position offers an prospect to work within a agile team dedicated to safety, efficiency, and professionalism in the transportation of bulk materials.
