The contract is located on Hwy 104 at the Cobequid Toll Plaza. Working Sunday-Thursday; 6 hour shifts. Shift is 4:30 pm -10:30 pm. Starting wage is $18/hour. Wage has room to go up based on performance and no missed time. Medical perks available after the 3 month probationary period.

Responsibilities
Perform commercial cleaning duties in a office setting. Along with cleaning the toll booths each evening.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
Dust and wipe down surfaces
Clean and sanitize restrooms
Clean and disinfect offices

-Clean and disinfect toll booths
Empty garbage and recycling.

-Clean windows -Wash walls as needed
Restock supplies as needed

-Sweep parking lot throughout the shift as well as picking up any garbage that is in the parking lot area. -Take note of supplies that need to be ordered.

Skills




Experience in commercial cleaning is not necessary; we are willing to train the right person
Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Valuable time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes

Note: Must have a valid driver license to get to and from the contract. Clean criminal record/background check needed if hired. Steel toe safety sneakers are mandatory at this contract. WHMIS required; online course will be provided to you. Start Date is October 1, 2026
