We are currently seeking a Journeyperson Truck & Transport Technician to join our team. The successful applicant must be focused, driven, and able to work in a team environment; be self-motivated and have a genuine desire to get the job done in a professional, effective and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:
Making repairs to fleet vehicles, including (but not limited to) repairing diesel engines, alignments, suspension, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems
Diagnosing failures of vehicles and disassembling, repairing and reassembly parts as necessary
Performing routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
Inspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings,



and other vital parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition
Inspecting, repairing and maintaining refrigeration systems
Filling out and submitting all required documents in an accurate and timely manner
Help to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:
Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training with Red Seal Truck and Transport License required
Hydraulics experience/certifications considered an asset
Knowledge of truck and equipment safety
Knowledge of equipment maintenance and storage procedures
Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedure
Knowledge of equipment cleaning standards and procedures
