Job Summary

Overview The award winning Aegir Room in the award winning Oswego Hotel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to a welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook breakfast items according to recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food is prepared safely, following proper food handling and safety procedures
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Serve breakfast dishes efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages or needs
Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to ensure a protected dining environment

Qualifications
Previous experience in food preparation,



cooking, or food service preferred, especially in restaurant or kitchen settings
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques
Strong understanding of meal preparation and cooking methods for breakfast items
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with the food industry standards and kitchen operations is a plus
Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts as required
