We are seeking a professional and vigilant Uniformed Security Officer to maintain safety and security at our Strata building. This role involves monitoring premises, enforcing security protocols, and ensuring a protected environment for staff, visitors, and property. The ideal candidate must have their AST and excellent observational skills,.
The position requires a uniformed presence and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to oversee activity across the property
Enforce security policies and procedures, including access control and loss prevention measures
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities
Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information while maintaining a professional presence
Conduct security checks on equipment, entrances, and exits to ensure operational integrity
Observe and report suspicious activity or safety hazards in a timely manner
Qualifications
Knowledge of surveillance systems and CCTV operation is highly desirable
Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and qualified under pressure during emergencies or conflicts
Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly when necessary
Basic Security Training (BST) and Advance Security Training (AST) licenses.
