We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver to join our agile logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting packages to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries that meet our high standards of customer satisfaction. Your expertise in commercial driving will be essential in maintaining smooth operations.This position offers an energetic work setting where your skills directly contribute to the success of our operations and the satisfaction of our clients. This is commission based. You will be starting out in the Durham region and deliverig packages to Toronto and surounding area.
Duties
Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring proper handling of fragile or heavy items.
Verify delivery orders, check shipment documentation, and ensure accuracy before dispatching or upon receipt.
Your own vehicle is required
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols,
and company policies during transportation activities.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and route planning.
Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks as needed.
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and clients.
