Overview
We are seeking a passionate and creative Ice Cream Maker to join our team. This role involves crafting delicious, high-quality ice cream and related desserts in a vibrant, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities
Prepare and produce a variety of ice cream flavors and desserts following established recipes and quality standards
Operate commercial ice cream machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Decorate cakes and desserts, utilizing cake decorating skills to enhance presentation
Package finished products for retail or display purposes, ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area in accordance with food safety regulations
Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing ingredients, measuring, and portioning




Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions about products, and offering samples when appropriate
Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations in the kitchen

Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery workplace is preferred
Skills in cake decorating, baking, and food presentation are highly desirable
Background in food handling, cooking, or food industry roles will be advantageous
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices is essential
Experience with food preparation, packaging, and kitchen operations will support success in this role
