Duties
Prepare and deliver dynamic lessons in biology, chemistry, physics, and other science subjects aligned with curriculum standards
Create an inclusive classroom workplace that supports diverse learning needs, including students requiring special education accommodations
Conduct hands-on laboratory experiments to enhance practical understanding of scientific principles
Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to promote growth
Incorporate tutoring sessions to reinforce concepts and support individual student success
Communicate effectively with students, parents,



and colleagues to ensure a collaborative educational experience
Maintain safety protocols during laboratory activities and ensure all equipment is properly used and stored

Experience
Prior classroom experience teaching science at middle or high school levels is preferred
Solid knowledge of scientific subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, or related fields
Experience with tutoring or mentoring students to improve understanding and performance in science topics
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and safety standards in educational settings
Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex concepts and foster student engagement
Experience working with students requiring special education support is a plus
Background in teaching math alongside science can enhance interdisciplinary instruction
