Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items following established recipes and standards
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Handle food safely during storage, handling, and serving to prevent contamination
Support meal service by plating dishes efficiently and accurately for timely delivery
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed




Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for everyone

Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners
Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
Experience with meal preparation, food service, or kitchen operations will be considered an asset

Pay: $18.25-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
