Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Health Care Aide to join our team. As a Health Care Aide, you will provide essential care and support to clients in a home care setting. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, providing personal care, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:
Must be willing to work nights, and be able to travel to Nanaimo, Nanoose Bay and Parksville
Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
Help patients with mobility and transfers
Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
Maintain a clean and secure environment for patients
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care

Skills:
Previous experience in patient care or senior care
Knowledge of memory care techniques is a plus
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients other Comfort Keepers Staff




Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
Excellent organizational skills to manage patient schedules and documentation
Compassionate nature and empathy towards patients' needs
Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism
Drivers license and vehicle needed
