The John McGivney Children’s Centre School Authority is seeking to hire qualified candidates for the following CASUAL/CALL IN positions:

POSITIONS
Occasional Lunch Aide Positions (11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.) ($23.69/hr.)
Occasional Classroom Support Positions (8:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.) ($26.85/hr.)

DUTIES
Assist school staff in the classroom and lunchroom with young students with special needs.
Perform duties of personal care for students, including feeding, lifting, and toileting.
Other duties as assigned by the Principal.
QUALIFICATIONS: Some college level courses (preference will be given to persons with special education training or with an early childhood education diploma).




Preference given to persons that have worked with students in a special education setting.
Proven ability to follow directions, policies and procedures in an appropriate and timely manner.
Able to learn and adopt recent technologies rapidly (re: Classroom Support Duties).
Must be available a minimum of three days a week.
Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. comfortably.
