We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Server to join our Food Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our senior residents in a dining environment. Reporting to the Food Services Manager, you will ensure that all dining experiences are enjoyable and memorable while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

The candidate will work on an as-needed basis, with shifts generally 8 hours in length. Shifts may vary based on operational needs and may include short-notice work, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities
Serve meals and beverages promptly, ensuring that all orders are accurate.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Follow food safety and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Provide friendly, respectful, and attentive service to residents.
Respond to resident inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.




Work collaboratively with the Food Services team to create a positive dining experience.

Requirements
Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling is an asset.
Solid communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work well as part of a team and multitask in a busy dining environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Food Safe Certification.
First Aid Certification or willing to complete within the first 3 months.
Transparent Criminal Record Check for Vulnerable Sector.
