Morley CPA Professional Corporation is looking for an experienced and client-focused Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Gravenhurst.

You will be responsible for a portfolio of approximately 20 small business clients with different bookkeeping cycles and requirements. Your work will include:
Processing and reviewing day-to-day bookkeeping transactions in QuickBooks Online;
Completing monthly bank and credit-card reconciliations and investigating discrepancies;
Processing payroll and assisting clients with payroll and source-deduction requirements;
Preparing GST/HST information and supporting government remittances and filings;
Maintaining complete, well-supported accounting records and working papers;
Communicating directly with clients to obtain missing information and resolve bookkeeping questions;
Managing recurring client deadlines and keeping file status current in Karbon;
Identifying unusual transactions, errors and inconsistencies and knowing when something needs to be brought to the supervising accountant;
Working closely with our accountants, Client Excellence Coordinators and other team members; and
Using technology—including QBO, Excel, Microsoft 365,



cloud applications and approved AI tools—to work efficiently and improve how we serve clients.

This is an experienced bookkeeping position, not an entry-level data-entry role. You should bring practical experience with bookkeeping and be comfortable working independently on routine client files.
Strong practical knowledge of QuickBooks Online
Solid working knowledge of Excel
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
Solid practical knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Excel
Working knowledge of payroll and source deductions
Working knowledge of GST/HST
The judgement to recognize when you can resolve something yourself and when you should ask for help
College diploma or university degree in accounting, bookkeeping or business is expected
