Job Overview

We currently have a part time position for the Stirling Feed & Seed store front as a customer service representative/cashier available on a 1 year contract basis covering for a maternity leave.

Stirling Feed & Seed is a family-owned business, established in 1974. We are located in the village of Stirling. Our store is busy and quick paced. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team and provide customer service to the farming community.

Agriculture background would be an asset.

Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping experience, answering questions about products and services across multiple animal species.
Maintain organized records for orders and deliveries.
Operate the cash register (POS system), handle cash, credit card transactions,



and process refunds accurately
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with the latest products
Provide excellent customer service by resolving issues promptly, managing complaints professionally, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

Qualifications
Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or cashiering roles.
Solid communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
Basic organizational skills to manage merchandising displays and inventory efficiently.
Agriculture knowledge is an asset.
