Job Summary

Duties
Assist with sorting, loading, and unloading linens, hospital garments, and other laundry items
Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly
Ensure all items are properly inspected for quality and cleanliness before distribution




Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for hospital linens to prevent contamination
Support the team with general cleaning tasks around the facility to uphold hygiene standards
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately

Requirements
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting hospital staff
Basic understanding of safety procedures related to laundry equipment and cleaning supplies
