Overview
We are hiring for a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA).

In this role, you will assist dentists during a variety of procedures, ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, and provide exceptional support to both patients and staff. Duties
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for procedures
Assist dentists chairside during general dentistry, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments
Take and develop dental X-rays while maintaining proper radiation safety protocols
Manage patient records using Tracker, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Support infection control practices and proper sterilization procedures
Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral hygiene practices to promote optimal health outcomes
Maintain organized medical records with accurate coding using dental terminology for billing and insurance purposes

Experience




Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II
Registered or in process of registering with the: BC College of Oral Health Professionals
Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures
Hands-on knowledge of dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, X-ray taking, infection control
Experience with Tracker software an asset, but not required
Recent grads welcome!

32 to 40 hours a week
Monday to Friday ( 4 and/or 5 days a week possible)
