PDS Courier is seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused individual to provide courier and operational support services as an Independent Contractor for route work starting in Richmondhill/Newmarket and delivering around the York Region.

Position Details
Compensation: $30.00 per hour on average
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Approximately 4 hours per day
Start Time: 9:00 AM
End Time: 1:00 PM
Contract Type: Independent Contractor
Vehicle Required: Contractor must provide their own reliable Minivan (large SUV may work)

What You'll Do
Pick up and deliver internal mail, documents, supplies, and other items.
Ensure timely, accurate, and protected delivery of all assigned items.
Maintain clear and skilled communication with dispatch.
Provide excellent customer service with every delivery and interaction.
Handle packages and materials with care.




Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and applicable City policies.
Maintain delivery records and required documentation.
Support daily municipal operations and perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Valid Ontario Driver's License (Class G or higher).
Good driving record.
Access to a reliable Minivan
Smartphone with GPS and data plan.
Robust knowledge of local roads and neighborhoods.
Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 40 lbs.
Punctual, professional, and organized.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
