Masters level education, Registered Psychotherapist.

-You must have availability to work virtually and/or in person in Barrie office location.
You must be registered and in valuable standing with CRPO

-Experience in working with trauma

-Experience and training in EMDR therapy is an asset or willingness to take the training.

-Experience and training in First Responders and/or Maternal Mental Health an asset.

-Part time with potential leading into full time if interested.

Duties:
Conduct psychotherapy sessions with patients to address mental health concerns and promote emotional well-being
Collect and analyze data to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans
Provide patient care, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment
Manage and maintain accurate case records, including progress notes and treatment plans




Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in psychotherapy to inform treatment approaches

Skills:
Strong data collection and analysis skills to assess patient needs and track treatment progress
Excellent patient care skills, including active listening, empathy, and effective communication
Proficient in case management techniques to ensure continuity of care and support for patients
Familiarity with research methodologies to contribute to evidence-based practice in psychotherapy
Experience working with pediatric populations, including children and adolescents
Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and treatments
Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred
Special education experience is a plus
