In this energetic role, you will operate specialized hydrovac trucks to safely and efficiently excavate around utilities, pipelines, and infrastructure. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed accurately and on time, all while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
Operate hydrovac trucks with precision to excavate soil and debris around underground utilities and structures
Conduct thorough pre-operation inspections of equipment, ensuring all safety features are functional
Use auxiliary heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, graders, and pavers as needed for site preparation and support
Follow detailed safety protocols during all operations to protect yourself, team members, and the surrounding environment
Assist with setup and breakdown of work zones, including traffic control and site cleanup
Maintain accurate logs of daily operations, equipment usage, and safety checks
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance on heavy machinery





Qualifications
Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, backhoes, and pavers in construction or utility environments
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform routine inspections and minor repairs on heavy machinery including Caterpillar equipment
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record for operating hydrovac trucks and other vehicles
Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques is a plus but not required
Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and protocols
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels and focus
Must be able to work out of town
Prior experience in construction projects involving paving or underground utility installation is advantageous

Pay: $24.89-$35.00 per hour
