About Jules Café Pâtisseries

Jules Café Pâtisseries is a French-inspired café and pastry shop in Toronto, specializing in freshly prepared pastries and baked goods.

We are looking for a Junior Baker to join our production team. This position is suited for someone with a genuine interest in baking who is ready to develop their skills while contributing to daily pastry production.

Responsibilities
Prepare and produce pastries, baked goods, and other bakery products
Follow recipes, production standards, and preparation procedures
Assist with mixing, shaping, baking, decorating, and finishing
Prepare ingredients and organize daily production
Maintain consistency in product quality and presentation
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
Keep workstations, tools, and equipment clean and organized
Support the team during busy production periods
Assist with inventory and ingredient preparation when required

Requirements




Previous baking or pastry experience is preferred
Basic knowledge of baking techniques and kitchen procedures
Strong attention to detail and product quality
Reliable, punctual, and organized
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
