Experienced Shingler

TK Roofing & Exteriors Ltd. is looking for experienced, reliable Shinglers to join our growing roofing team. We are looking for individuals who have hands-on residential roofing experience and can confidently work as part of a crew while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities
Install asphalt shingles on residential homes
Tear-off and prepare existing roofing materials
Install underlayment, ice & water shield, drip edge, vents and other roofing components
Complete valleys, hips, ridges, flashing and other roofing details properly
Follow job specifications and maintain a high standard of workmanship
Keep job sites clean, safe and organized
Safely use roofing tools and equipment
Work efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail
Follow all company and workplace safety requirements

Requirements
Previous residential shingling experience is required
Strong knowledge of asphalt shingle installation
Able to work safely on roofs, ladders and at heights
Physically capable of lifting roofing materials and working outdoors
Reliable transportation to job sites




Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
Positive attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Must have a positive, qualified attitude

Experience with residential tear-offs, re-roofs, repairs and new installations is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional additional hours depending on weather and workload

Location: Barrie & surrounding areas
