Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in waste management
Experience Loading and unloading Machinery
Experience using an loader, or skid steer
Ground Disturbances training
Working knowledge of hydraulic equipment
Knowledgeable in civil construction
Ability to coach and mentor apprentices.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and clients.
Trenching requirements & Safety procedures
Must have a valid driver’s license, Class 3 with air brakes is an asset.
Responsibilities
Operation of varying mechanical equipment
Ensuring every team member gets home safely.
Review and understand corporate policies/procedures.
Review and understand project schedule/milestones.
Provide afterhours support to crews as needed.
Coordinate day to day work scope with Foreman
Coordinate day to day equipment needs.
Day to day maintenance of equipment and reporting issues to Foreman
Coordinate with Foreman to ensure that client needs are being met or exceeded.
Identify potential project scope change to Foreman.
Employment Pre-requisites and Requirements
D&A; Testing and a background check is a mandatory requirement of this position.
