Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their selections, providing friendly and efficient service
Handle food preparation tasks such as packaging baked goods and assisting with basic food handling procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front bakery area, kitchen including counters, display cases and supported bakers
Manage transactions accurately at the register, including processing payments and issuing receipts
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling protocols at all times
Assist in restocking display shelves and ensuring baked goods are attractively presented
Making coffee to meet the standard

Requirements




Previous experience in a restaurant, bakery or food service environment is preferred
Previous experience in coffee making is preferred and will be considered
Knowledge of food preparation, baking, or cake decorating is a plus
Solid customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
Ability to handle food safely, follow hygiene standards, and adhere to food safety regulations
Kitchen experience or familiarity with food industry practices is advantageous
Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as packaging and cleaning
Enthusiastic team player eager to learn recent skills in baking, food handling, and customer engagement

Pay: $18.25-$21.85 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 30.0 per week
