Join Miskanawah in Calgary as a Senior Youth and Cultural Support Worker. Lead the development of creative programming while advocating for the rights of Indigenous youth and families. This full time position is designed for individuals with expertise in youth programming, aimed at enhancing cultural responsiveness.

You will work alongside the Diamond Willow Youth Lodge team to create impactful activities, provide educational support, and document processes accurately. Effective mentorship of staff is also key to this role. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate and enhance youth-led activities
Acquaint staff with communication methods for youth
Develop educational strategies and materials
Ensure timely completion of program documentation
Source resources to improve program outcomes Requirements:
Experience in youth program planning and facilitation
Understanding of Indigenous culture and needs
Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
Criminal background checks required
Hold valid Class 5 Driver’s License with adequate insurance Lead Miskanawah’s efforts in shaping a brighter future for youth through empowered programming.
