Be a vital support to students at Parkland Middle School as a Special Education Aide. Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEP) and meet student needs both inside and outside the classroom. This role requires helping students with disabilities under the direction of certified teachers and the principal.

Key duties include preparing instructional materials, supervising students, and implementing behavioral strategies. You will also reinforce learning goals and manage student behavior, ensuring compliance with IEP guidelines and federal laws. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students during lunch, bus, and playground duties
Assist teachers with instructional material preparation
Implement social and emotional learning strategies daily
Help students with severe developmental and communication delays
Document services provided for IEP compliance Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Forty-eight college hours from an accredited institution
Experience working with students and parents
Eligible for a paraprofessional certification
