PADDLE Instructor

Positions / Locations:
PADDLE Continuing Education Instructor: $35/hour, including 4% vacation and 4% Stat holiday pay. (35 hours weekly)

Required Teaching Qualifications:
A Valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
A Valid Certificate of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers
Primary, Junior, Intermediate and/or Senior Teaching Qualifications
Special Education Specialist Qualification or Special Education Part 2 and evidence of working towards specialist

Position Criteria:
Ability to work with adult students who have complex needs and/or developmental disabilities who might require support with self-regulation, behavior management, and/or social learning and communication
Ability to work collaboratively as a part of a multi-faceted team supporting students
Ability to implement differentiated instruction to support a wide variety of adult student learning needs




Effective communication and reporting skills (For example, reporting attendance in Edsby)
Ability to write and implement Individual Student Learning Plans, as required
Valid driver’s license
