QuEra Computing, Inc. is looking for a Scientific Software Engineer to address unique software challenges in quantum computing.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with a vibrant scientific team and industry experts while building the compiler pipeline using the open-source toolchain Kirin. Expect to focus on compiling high-level applications, maintaining domain-specific languages, and developing infrastructure for quantum error correction (QEC). Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain domain-specific languages for the compilation pipeline
Support customers with usage questions and technical issues




Create comprehensive documentation for our SDK Bloqade
Collaborate with scientists on hardware features for QEC algorithms
Deliver current language and hardware features with the scientific software team Requirements:
Ph.D. in Computer Science or Physics related to quantum fields
Experience with Python semantics and CPython APIs
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
Enthusiasm for building tools and documentation for non-developers
