Sawman

to join our team for a FireSmart project in Whitehorse, Yukon. Responsibilities

Safely fall, limb and buck trees Remove hazardous trees, brush and vegetation Complete thinning and fuel-reduction work Operate and maintain chainsaws and related equipment Follow FireSmart specifications and ACE Vegetation's safety procedures Work effectively as part of a qualified field crew Qualifications

Previous professional chainsaw, forestry or vegetation-management experience Strong knowledge of safe falling, limbing and bucking practices Physically capable of working outdoors in rugged terrain and changing weather conditions Valid driver's licence preferred Chainsaw certification and First Aid are considered assets Reliable, hardworking and safety-focused Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing What ACE Vegetation Offers
