Join Affirm’s commitment to secure applications as a Remote Application Security Engineer II. Engage with engineering and product teams to prioritize security measures. As part of Affirm’s Application Security team, you will be instrumental in launching trusted products while minimizing risks.

This role involves assessing application security, contributing code improvements, and maintaining workflows that support the security posture of our applications. Collaborating with various departments will ensure that security considerations are integral to product development. Key Responsibilities:
Work with teams to identify and prioritize security risks
Analyze code, logs, and documentation for vulnerabilities
Develop scripts to improve security processes




Collect and manage vulnerability reports from multiple sources
Communicate security issues effectively to all stakeholders Requirements:
Over 4 years in application/security engineering
Solid grasp of Python, JavaScript, or comparable coding languages
Familiar with Git version control processes
Experience with code testing and vulnerability assessment
