Become an integral part of the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre team as a Certified Prosthetist. This full time role involves client engagement and high-quality prosthetic care. Reporting to the Orthotics Prosthetics Department manager, you will assess, manufacture, and fit prosthetic appliances based on physician referrals.

Your role will also involve educating both clients and staff on the features and usage of prosthetics. You’ll collaborate with orthotic and prosthetic technicians to ensure effective fabrication processes, while supervising recent staff training. Key Responsibilities:
Assess client needs and functionality for prosthetics
Educate clients on fitting and usage of devices
Supervise fabrication processes and technical staff
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Ensure client satisfaction through quality adjustments Requirements:
Completion of an accredited orthotics prosthetics program
Appropriate registration with OPC
Advanced skills in clinical assessments and technical fitting
Ability to effectively manage caseload and outcomes
Robust communication with interdisciplinary teams Utilize your specialized knowledge to enhance prosthetic service delivery and client outcomes.
