In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the development of current technologies and products. The intern will report to a supervisor within the Engineering group and will complete tasks as outlined below during their tenure. This position offers an outstanding opportunity for growth and development through hands‑on exposure to a wide range of technical activities,



including one or more of the following:Principal ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the design, implementation and analysis of experiments to evaluate and understand the characteristics of precision temperature and position sensing technology and products.Participate in the design, simulation, construction and validation of new test equipment.Learn about and participate in the set up and calibration of optical and thermal characterization equipment.Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test procedures, and test reports.Use statistical analysis software to analyze data and draw data‑based conclusions.Required SkillsEnrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or relevant majors.Excellent technical, analytical, problem‑solving skills, with systematic analytical interpretation of data and strong attention to details.Good comfort level with hardware, lab equipment and hands‑on troubleshooting.Programming, for example using Python, LabView or MATLAB.CompetenciesExcellent time management skills and commitment to meet deadlines.Excellent communication and technical writing skills.BenefitsGlobal Employee Assistance ProgramAdditional Flex Day Off with Spending AllowanceTransit Zone 1 ReimbursementActive Social Committee ProgramsCompensationHourly Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour.
