Our client, a well-established organization located in the Milton area, is seeking an experienced Controller for a 6-8 month contract assignment, with a targeted start date at the end of September.

This hands-on role will be responsible for managing key accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information while supporting the ongoing needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations

Produce monthly and year-end financial statements

Manage and oversee sales tax filings

Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions

Support month-end and year-end close processes

Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Provide financial analysis and support to management as required

Qualifications & Experience

CPA designation required





Proven experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role

Public accounting background, ideally with a Big 4 firm

Strong NetSuite experience

Advanced Excel skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Professional, outgoing, and team-oriented personality
