Hiring: Security Communications & Training Specialist

12+ Months | Contract + Extension

We are seeking a Security Communications and Training Specialist to support TC Energy’s security awareness and human-risk program. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience designing and delivering formal security training, creating executive‑ready communications, and presenting complex security concepts to employees and senior leadership.

Must-Have Skills:

Experience in security awareness / cybersecurity communications / human risk

Hands‑on experience designing and delivering formal training programs

Experience conducting live training sessions, roadshows, and executive sessions

Strong experience developing training curriculum and training content

Experience preparing executive‑ready communications, presentations, briefs, and reports

Experience communicating with VP, senior leadership, and board‑level audiences

Ability to simplify complex cybersecurity, social engineering,



and risk concepts

Experience with metrics, data analysis, and executive reporting

Strong proofreading, editing, quality‑control, and communication skills

Experience working cross‑functionally with Communications, OCM, Project Teams, and Enterprise Security

Ability to support training for large employee groups and executive audiences

Eligible to work in Canada and available for Calgary hybrid work

Strong Plus:

Security awareness or human‑risk platforms

Cybersecurity / information security background

Energy, utilities, or regulated‑industry experience

SQL / advanced data analysis

Security engineering or architecture background with solid training experience

Phishing simulation or social‑engineering campaign experience alone will not qualify.
