Join Xanadu as a Process Integration Engineer focused on SNSPD nanofabrication in Sherbrooke. Contribute your expertise in cleanroom development and cutting-edge quantum computing technology. As part of Xanadu’s Hardware Team, you will collaborate with physicists and engineers to enhance the performance of photon number resolving (PNR) cryogenic detectors.

This role involves applying cleanroom fabrication and thin-film characterization techniques to develop state-of-the-art Superconducting Nanowire Single Photon Detectors. You will engage with foundry partners to transition processes into high-volume production. Key Responsibilities:
Establish SNSPD process in the 3IT Nanofabrication Facility
Collaborate with foundry partners for manufacturing transitions




Ensure critical detector performance metrics are met
Maintain detailed process documentation and recipes
Uphold statistical process control standards Requirements:
Ph.D. in Physics, Engineering, or related field
5+ years in cleanroom process development
Proficient with photolithography and deposition techniques
Knowledgeable in optical thin film characterization
