Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in acute care and pediatrics. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve their physical function and quality of life.

You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary clinical setting to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and overall function.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options and rehabilitation processes.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Stay updated on the latest medical terminology and physiotherapy practices.

Requirements




Valid physiotherapy license or certification as required by Provincial regulations.
Experience in acute care settings preferred; pediatric experience is a plus.
Solid understanding of medical terminology related to physiotherapy.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients and families.
Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented setting.
Must be in good standing with the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario
Must be in good standing with all insurance companies
