The successful candidate may also be trained and required to perform small test assessments (vision, audiometry and spirometry). You will also liaise with other clinic staff, physicians and administrators to ensure effective delivery of our services. This is a casual position and hours will vary depending on the clinic’s needs.Here’s howReceive and complete requisitions, enter patient data into the diagnostic imaging information system and prepare patients for specific proceduresGather and verify patient history and relevant information prior to beginning scanPerform ultrasound procedures in accordance with regulatory body guidelines and TELUS’s policiesEnsure all necessary documentation is accurately completed for each scanMaintain current knowledge and understanding of PACSMaintain equipment and ensure a clean, organized and safe workspaceComply with patient safety and confidentiality policiesPerform related clinical and administrative duties as necessaryPerform small tests (vision, audiometry, and spirometry) as necessary and when time allowsQualificationsCompletion of a recognized post‑diploma sonography program, or equivalentMinimum – 2 years of experience with abdominal and pelvic ultrasound examinationsSuccessfully registered with the CMRITOCurrent Sonography Canada registration in good standingCPR and WHMIS certification(s) would be considered an assetPrevious experience with PACS,
