Join the Senate as an Organizational Design & Classification Advisor. This key role focuses on job evaluation and classification, enhancing organizational effectiveness across teams. We are looking for a dedicated advisor to fill a full time position in the Human Resources Directorate at the Senate of Canada.

You will play a pivotal role in advising on classification matters for both unionized and non-unionized positions. Collaborate with HR colleagues and managers to ensure positions are aligned with organizational objectives while managing classification requests and improving service delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Advise on organizational design and job evaluation processes
Conduct thorough classification reviews and assessments
Lead classification committees per Senate procedures




Partner with Labour Relations to resolve classification grievances
Develop solutions that meet the Senate's strategic goals Requirements:
University degree or relevant educational background
Extensive experience in human resources classification
Ability to analyze and write job descriptions effectively
Robust collaboration skills with internal and external partners
CHRP designation or classification accreditation is an asset Utilize your skills to advise the Senate while contributing to a diverse and inclusive workplace in Canada.
