NSB Omega is hunting for a skilled Buyer for our Oil & Gas Client in Calgary, AB. This role focuses on managing procurement, supplier relationships, and material availability to streamline operations. As a Buyer, your responsibilities will include overseeing Purchase Orders from creation to maintenance, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

You will also validate demands and inventory to avoid duplicate purchases while managing supplier quality. Effective communication and data management skills will be needed to succeed in this position. Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage Purchase Orders in the ERP system
Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure best terms




Validate and track material requirements for various demands
Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics
Expedite open orders to ensure timely production Requirements:
Preferred candidate will have a P. Eng or be able to obtain it
Must hold a degree in mechanical engineering
Downhole tool experience is a plus
Specialized knowledge in materials science is advantageous
Background in metrology or design drafting is beneficial Support NSB Omega and our Oil & Gas client to enhance procurement processes in Calgary.
