Take charge as a Natural Resource Officer Sergeant with the BC Public Service in Williams Lake. This in office role involves leading compliance operations and navigating crucial environmental enforcement efforts. As a Sergeant in the Natural Resource Officer Service, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and operations of compliance activities.

Leading a team, you’ll address urgent environmental issues and collaborate with multiple agencies to enhance public safety. This position uniquely combines leadership with frontline enforcement work. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee compliance and enforcement initiatives within your jurisdiction
Supervise up to 10 technical and administrative staff
Manage multi-agency collaborations and emergency situations




Conduct significant environmental investigations and enforce laws
Act as a Special Provincial Constable as needed Requirements:
Degree or diploma in relevant natural resource fields
Significant experience in compliance and enforcement actions
Proven track record in leadership and operational management
Valid BC Driver’s Licence and ability to work in the field
Successful completion of the Natural Resource Officer Academy Step into a pivotal leadership role focusing on environmental preservation and community welfare.
