About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Regional Operations Director to lead and manage operations across the Northern Cape region. This senior role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring consistent service delivery across multiple sites. You will be responsible for overseeing budgets, leading operational teams, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within a hybrid work setting. The ideal candidate possesses a solid track record in large-scale operational management, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of regional market dynamics within Kimberley and its surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies for the Northern Cape region.
- Oversee all operational functions, ensuring alignment with company objectives and performance targets.
- Manage regional budgets, P&L;, and resource allocation effectively.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of operations managers and staff.
- Drive process improvements and operational innovations to enhance efficiency and productivity.




- Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements across the region.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a Director-level or equivalent regional leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage complex operations across multiple locations.
- Strong expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and performance optimization.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with hybrid work models and managing distributed teams is an asset.
