MIG WELDER / FABRICATOR

We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This is a full time, hands-on position building and assembling steel products.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their workmanship and can produce clean, consistent welds and accurately fitted assemblies. We are looking for someone dependable who can work efficiently while maintaining positive quality.

Duties include:
MIG welding mild steel
Fitting, tacking and assembling fabricated components
Reading shop drawings and using a tape measure accurately
Grinding and finishing welds
Checking completed work for quality and accuracy
Using common hand and power tools
Material handling and some heavy lifting
Keeping a clean and protected work area

Qualifications:
MIG welding/fabrication experience
Ability to produce clean, consistent welds




Ability to read drawings and accurately measure parts
Good mechanical ability and attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with physically demanding work and some heavy lifting
Welding certification is not required if you can demonstrate the necessary skills

Pay: $30.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on skill and experience

Minimum 44 hours per week

Full-time, steady employment.

Applicants may be asked to complete a short practical welding/fabrication test as part of the hiring process

Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 44.0 per week
