Cancer Care Alberta is currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient team at the new Arthur Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre (AC). Reporting to the Manager of Hematology, the successful RN will provide acute medical care within the specialty program of Hematology, Oncology, Blood and Marrow Stem Cell Transplant. This fast‑paced and rapidly changing acute care environment requires the RN to leverage adaptability and critical thinking to thrive. Working within a dynamic interdisciplinary team, the RN will collaborate with physicians, nursing and allied health professionals to deliver comprehensive care. The role also offers growth and leadership development opportunities such as preceptorship, clinical trials and ongoing professional development. The AC features a modern design equipped with innovative technologies supporting integrated research and optimized care for patients, families and staff.DescriptionAs a Registered Nurse, you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations, ensuring their safety and well‑being. You will apply nursing processes through critical thinking, problem solving and decision making, and will teach, counsel and advocate on behalf of patients and families. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion and maintenance, and will provide safe, quality patient‑ and family‑centered care reflecting the shared vision and values.NOTE: Provisional Permit holders will be paid $40.76 to $55.79 per hour.
