WasteWater Operator/Superintendent level I (level II preferred)

Job Description Operator Main Responsibilities

You're responsible for conducting the daily operation and maintenance of the WWTP. This position will report to the area Operations Manager

The main responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:





Carry out the daily operation (regulatory monitoring and reporting processadjustments, chemical transferring and maintenance) of the facility;

Provide operational support & troubleshooting for plant operations;

Maintain required inventory and inventory control of critical spare parts, chemicals, & consumables;

Create maintenance requests ;

Complete and compile data of daily inspections, monitoring, and sampling as required;

Perform maintenance tasks as requested by the supervisor;

Perform laboratory analysis and reporting;

Preparation weekly, monthly, annual reports as required;

Provide training and mentorship to plant operational staff;

Participate in required meetings (in-person & remotely);

Participate, enforce, and comply with all aspects of the company's health and safety program.

Hours of Work (+ on-call)

Monday8am-4:30pm

Tuesday 8am-12pm

Thursday8am-4:30pm

Friday 8am-12pm

Note : if you want to do more hours (+40 hrs/w), Aquatech can give you more responsabilities in the Calgary area working in PM (Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday)

Qualifications Required Qualifications

Current WWTP Level I min (proof of certification is required) / Level II is preferred;

Ability to lift 25 kg (55lb);

Intermediate to advanced mechanical knowledge;

Ability to work under pressure quickly and efficiently;

Excellent problem solving skills;

Solid independent worker and team player;

Good communication skills, both written and verbal;

Proven ability to supervise and communicate with staff members;

Positive attitude and able to promote a positive image of AQUATECH.
