Schools invites applications for two full time Learning Assistants, starting immediately in Airdrie. You will collaborate closely with teachers, implementing and adapting programs for students with complex needs.

Your role emphasizes promoting health, learning, and personal growth in a supportive school workplace. Key Responsibilities:
Assist students as per individualized care and support plans
Reinforce strategies provided by teachers for effective learning
Document behaviors and data to enhance support strategies
Engage in cooperative planning for student development
Prepare learning materials under teacher’s guidance Requirements:
Educational Assistant Certificate or similar qualification
Willingness to obtain training in behavior management
At least one year of experience with challenging student behavior
CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
Capacity to maintain calm in high-pressure situations Support student development and independence and make a difference at Ralph McCall School.
