Global Financial Firm located in Mississauga, ON has an immediate contract prospect for an experienced Java/React Developer.

Work Mode: Hybrid

Pay rate range: $ 70.00 - $ 75.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience

Responsibilities
Lead design and development of complex full stack applications using Java and Angular
Own end-to-end delivery of application components, from design through deployment
Drive architecture decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
Resolve high-impact technical challenges across systems and platforms
Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance
Partner with stakeholders to define system enhancements and strategic solutions
Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and scalability of applications
Lead testing strategies, code reviews,



and deployment processes
Identify risks and ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements

Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience in application development
Advanced expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and microservices architecture
Robust experience with API design, SQL, and distributed systems
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (preferred), and DevOps practices
Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor teams
Robust communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
