Duties
Deliver engaging and personalized English tutoring sessions to high school students, focusing on reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and literature analysis
Develop tailored lesson plans that align with students’ academic goals and curriculum requirements
Support students in preparing for exams, essays, presentations, and other assessments
Foster a positive learning workplace that encourages active participation and confidence-building
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills
Incorporate multilingual support by utilizing knowledge of languages such as Mandarin, French, Spanish,
or Japanese when appropriate to aid understanding
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and areas for improvement
Requirements
Proven experience working with children or teenagers in educational or tutoring settings
Strong command of the English language with excellent writing skills
Classroom experience or previous tutoring experience is highly preferred
Fluency in additional languages such as Mandarin, French, Spanish, or Japanese is a significant advantage
Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and engage students effectively
