Howitt Construction is a busy earthmoving company based out of Red Deer. We’re looking for locallabourers for a road construction project on Hwy 11 between Eckville & Benalto. Start date is asap.

Candidates should be able to perform all the skills in the Scope of Work, and work in a secure manner following all policies and procedures.

Requirements
Operating plate tamper,
Moving rocks to install rip rap around culvert ends,
Using small sledge hammer to install silt fence,
Shoveling & raking.

PPE Requirements
Steel toed boots,
High visibility safety vest,
Safety glasses,
Hard hat & gloves.

Work Details
7 days a week, 7am to 6pm - 11 hr shifts,
Long weekends off (4 days),
Provide own transportation to and from work site.

Job Types: Full time, Seasonal Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
