Support student learning as a part-time teacher at Our Lady of the Assumption School in Lethbridge. This role emphasizes teamwork and effective instruction strategies to address diverse educational needs.
We are looking for a temporary 0.5 FTE teacher to start immediately, working with the Complexity Team through February 26, 2027, with extension options available. Successful candidates will engage in small-group instruction and provide personalized support in alignment with the Alberta curriculum and the IB Primary Years Programme. A robust commitment to the Catholic faith and community involvement is highly valued in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with another teacher for collaborative instruction
• Lead differentiated instruction in small groups
• Promote positive behavior management in the classroom




• Integrate IB PYP principles along with the Alberta curriculum
• Participate in skilled growth activities related to teaching
Requirements:
• Must hold an Alberta teaching certificate
• Knowledge of IB PYP teaching methods is an asset
