Become a vital member of the Saskatchewan Health Authority as a Full time Operating Room Attendant in Swift Current.

Your role will focus on sterilizing instruments and preparing operating rooms for procedures. As part of the Medical Device Reprocessing department at Cypress Regional Hospital, you will ensure patient safety and readiness for surgical operations. Candidates must have a minimum of six months’ experience in healthcare and the appropriate certification.

Responsibilities also include patient positioning and proper specimen transport. Key Responsibilities:
Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
Setup and clean Operating and Procedure Rooms
Transport patients and specimens safely




Uphold health and safety protocols in the operating environment
Work alongside healthcare teams to enhance patient care Requirements:
At least six months of healthcare experience required
Must have Medical Device Reprocessing Technician certification
Solid organizational and communication skills required
Basic computer skills for record-keeping
Ability to work autonomously in a busy setting Support patient outcomes by maintaining a clean, organized, and protected surgical environment at Cypress Regional Hospital.
