The Manager, Cloud Engineering & DevOps leads the development, modernization, and operational maturity of goeasy’s enterprise cloud and DevOps capabilities. This role is accountable for consolidating partner-hosted and cloud environments onto a single strategic cloud provider; establishing modern cloud engineering,



platform engineering, and DevOps standards; and enabling secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-effective technology platforms. The team builds and evolves the cloud foundation, infrastructure automation, CI/CD capabilities, deployment guardrails, observability, and operational practices required to accelerate workload migration and software delivery, improve consistency and reliability, strengthen cost accountability, and mature the enterprise FinOps model.

What will you be doing?

- Lead the Cloud Engineering & DevOps team in building, modernizing, and operating enterprise cloud platforms, DevOps services, automation, and foundational capabilities.
- Own and mature enterprise DevOps practices, including source control, CI/CD standards, reusable templates, automated testing, approvals, deployment patterns, and production readiness.
- Establish platform engineering capabilities, reusable cloud patterns, infrastructure-as-code modules, automated pipelines, and secure self-service pathways that improve speed, consistency, and control.
- Drive the consolidation of partner-hosted and multi-cloud environments onto a single strategic cloud provider, including discovery, migration planning, sequencing, execution support, and stabilization.
- Define and evolve enterprise cloud standards for architecture, landing zones, account and subscription structure, networking, identity, security, resiliency, observability, backup, and recovery.




- Partner with Application, Data, Quality Assurance, Security, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to assess workloads, select cloud services, embed delivery controls, and transition solutions into supported production environments.
- Reduce manual effort and operational risk through orchestration, configuration management, policy as code, automated validation, and repeatable environment provisioning.
- Modernize legacy infrastructure and hosting patterns by enabling cloud-native, managed-service, container, and automation-led approaches where they provide practical business and operational value.
- Mature the enterprise FinOps model through cost visibility, ownership, tagging, budgets, alerts, reporting, forecasting, optimization, commitment management, and consumption accountability.
- Ensure cloud platforms are reliable, secure, compliant, scalable, supportable, governed, and continuously improved through lifecycle management, standardization, technical debt reduction, and service readiness.
- Manage cloud engineering vendors and partners, ensuring clear deliverables, knowledge transfer, platform alignment, commercial accountability, and reduced dependency on external providers.
- Build cloud engineering capability through coaching, technical standards, communities of practice, documentation, automation, and measurable improvements in platform adoption and maturity.
- Track and communicate progress against cloud modernization, DevOps maturity, delivery performance, reliability, cost, risk, and operational objectives to technology leadership and key stakeholders.

What experience do you have?

- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
